Seems the the BMW mechanic didn´t do a good job at the 1000km revision. He put my clutch cable under tension, which made the clutch not close fully, it would have a slight slip which over time completely screwed the clutch.
As it was under warranty, BMW changed it for free. However as mental note ALWAYS check your clutch travel - the lever needs to have a few mm or 1 cm of play before you feel the clutch getting pulled.
