Today mounted the Anakee 3 on the bike. Live they look more rugged than in pictures, seems more off-road than I would expect….
Review to follow - first impression is the big is much quicker curving, and more tipsy simply because the old wheels were worn into a square shape vs round….!

ReplyDeleteI have used my Anakee 2 rear down to the shape of a shoebox, and my Distanzia front is also looking a little worse for the wear. I would like to get a new set of tyres, and note you have mounted the Anakee 3s as replacement.
How are they doing?
How do they fare in the Rain?
Are they M+S?
Aside from being tippy from going boxy to round, anything negative to say about them?

DeleteAnakee 3 still going great! given they don't have the gaps that the Anakee 2 does - they seem to last longer and not get so wobbly. Great rain performance.
But... they are crap in M&S, much worse than the Anakee 2 (which weren't good anyway). It's like having slicks on, the groove does near to nothing.
