Cold, very cold! (-1º for a couple of hours)

Very cold, but fun. A quick summary of the route to Teruel this weekend through backroads (thx to wikiloc for the route). The thermometer of the inboard computer didn't stop flashing during the whole route. Didn't get the picture of -1,5°C, as we only took the gloves off once!

it was the first time I'd traveled on a bike with these temperatures. Half way in the trip we had our only stop at Penalara to eat some "chourico" and compose the clothing layers. I was trembling when we arrived, so added another long sleeve and refitted the neck wind protector - was able to do the rest of the trip slightly warmer :-)
After arriving at Becas to spend the night, we went to Albarracin. The bikes survived a -3° night. They started up in the morning with no problem.

Albarracin was a surprise, an amazing town that is "lost" in the valley. We had a city guide to show us around and talk about all the little details you just can't capture on your own.
Worth a vist!
Here's the route going out, from Madrid to Becas. Excellent route, the roads are forgotten and rarely used, which make them perfect for bikes like mine. Very little traffic as well. We returned by the highway, and not half as fun
